    Role:

    You will take on operational responsibility while the client is building out their IT Risk program. Applications and platforms are the primary area of focus.

    Expertise:

    • 8-10 years of experience in IT risk in financial services
    • Working knowledge of FFIEC guidelines for IT operations
    • Working knowledge of COBIT 5 operational framework
    • Familiarity with risk registers
    • Demonstrated experience with the IT risk assessment process, especially application risk assessment
    • Capable of building IT risk Playbooks
    • Hands-on experience with GRC software packages, especially the Archer suite
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • Comfortable leading initiatives and taking a hands-on approach

  • Position Title: SIEM and Security Monitoring Analyst

    Role:

    • Help to automate manual process currently done in the Cyber Security Department.
    • Take ownership of the SIEM platform deployment, general documentation, log sources documentation and maintenance of the platform itself.
    • Generate figures, reports and dashboards regarding SIEM platform.
    • Generate and maintain scripts for automating SIEM server tasks.
    • Provide additional inputs for further investigations based on logs collected in the SIEM platform.
    • Generate baseline of normal behavior of data to detect anomalies on the data collected.
    • Provide guidelines and recommendations to the SIEM and Big Data platform based on industry best practices.
    • Respond to security incidents across a wide array of technologies, mitigate and contain impacts, coordinate remediation efforts, summarize and make recommendations for improvements
    • Provide up-to-date reports on security incidents and task progress, and centrally track, in a timely fashion, incoming and existing problems.
    • Provide expertise, guidance, recommendations and documented security configurations for implementation of security tools and processes.
    • Maintain documentation to support security strategy by outlining the requirements and benefits of specific security tools and/or solutions.
    • Interface with groups and individuals to resolve security issues related to implementation of network and security products.
    • Efficiently manage multiple simultaneous tasks across new projects and existing systems, including management of on-call duties.

    Expertise:

    • Solid knowledge and experience with SIEM or analytics solutions (Splunk, ELK, Logrhythm, etc)
    • Must understand information systems security; network architecture; network security; general database concepts; document management; hardware and software troubleshooting; electronic mail systems, such as Exchange and GroupWise; Microsoft Office applications; intrusion tools; and computer forensic tools
    • Experience conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and ethical hacking
    • SQL commands/language knowledge
    • Python programming, bash scripting and PowerShell
    • +6 years Security Analyst experience in a corporation or service firm
    • Solid analytical/problem-solving skills with capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems.
