Trust has eroded in banks – the industry today is fighting to reclaim customers trust and build loyalty while adapting to the digital economy, competition from a vast array of fintech startups that are meeting customers’ needs faster and cheaper online.   Regulations is challenging banks profitability by driving down margins with increased transparency with Open Banking API and PSD2 forcing banks to allow third parties to access the data of customers who authorise it.  Technology and innovation are for the ultimate benefit of financial services’ consumer.


This will create another opportunity to bring together banks, fintechs, think tanks and regulators to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the industry.
