- Describe your position at Axis Corporate, part of Accenture
I am the Managing Director and one of the founders of Axis Corporate, part of Accenture. My main role is to set the strategic direction of the company, generally overseeing the firm’s performance and results while seeking to promote Axis Corporate, part of Accenture’s values in my dealings with the team, all in the aim of consolidating the foundation of our corporate culture.
The financial sector has carried great weight throughout my career, having worked for more than 25 years as a consultant for major national and international financial institutions. In addition to the financial sector, I am also familiar with sectors such as insurance, real estate, mobility, leisure, living, TMT, and industry, advising both family and international groups. I continue to enrich my experience and knowledge of the world of consulting and its value contribution to businesses.
- What do you value most about your position?
I have the privilege of shaping and executing Axis Corporate, part of Accenture’s strategy, guiding this organisation towards global growth and increasing its value as a company in the marketplace.
However, what I am really passionate about is being able to advise other companies in their growth and development, to help them make their business results tangible. My work as Managing Director is not incompatible with direct customer contact; in fact, I also participate in proposing business growth strategies for them, with a focus on improving customer experience, innovation, revenue growth, and risk reduction. This allows me to gain first-hand knowledge of customer concerns and market trends, as well as to identify potential new key services that are in high demand.
- What led you to founding this company?
We wanted to offer a different kind of consulting firm, to offer services with results that could be measured; that is, one that provides tangible benefits. That was one of the ideas that pushed us to build a practical and measurable consulting firm, hence the name “Axis Corporate, part of Accenture”. Today, we like to think of ourselves as a “challenger consulting firm”.
The second reason we founded this company was that we wanted to respond to companies’ critical challenges, which would help us build true and productive long-term relationships with our clients.
- What are the key ingredients to being good at what you do?
The humility to learn every day, passion and enthusiasm for what you do, and collaboration with clients and teams.
- Why is diversity important in a team?
Diversity management is a challenge in itself and a competitive advantage for the company. Diversity plus collaboration equals success. Successfully managing diversity in terms of generations, experience, gender, cultures, disciplines, and approaches is highly enriching for the company and adds differential value to the projects we carry out.
