Jorge has more than 10 years of experience in strategy and operations consulting, both nationally and internationally, in the field of financial services (banking, insurance, capital markets), having led multidisciplinary teams focused on achieving success and excellence in strategic projects for leading financial institutions.
As Senior Manager, he will contribute to the development of Axis Corproate, part of Accenture’s Financial Services line from growing this area through achieving and developing high value transformation initiatives in the sector while supporting the teams in achieving their quality and excellence objectives in the services carried out.
- What is your position at Axis Corporate, part of Accenture?
I am the Senior Manager of Axis Corporate, part of Accenture’s Financial Services area, focusing my activity on the development of the main financial institutions in the market through continuous advising on strategy, business, and operations, always with a clear focus on agile and efficient transformation.
- Why did you join the company?
I have a clear vocation and interest in dynamism and in contributing to companies’ growth; from this perspective and with Axis Corporate, part of Accenture’s current momentum, I saw no better option than to dedicate my efforts and my two cents to Axis Corporate, part of Accenture’s own development by helping grow our customers’ entire portfolio.
- What would you highlight most about your position?
I think I am very fortunate to be able to continue learning and developing on a daily basis, as well as contributing to the development of different lines of business, working hand in hand with our clients based on the variability of the market and their businesses, and fostering the growth of our wonderful team of professionals.
- What is your biggest challenge right now?
Striking an optimal balance between my contribution to the growth and success of Axis Corporate, part of Accenture, and our customers with my contribution to my family.
- Do you have any role models?
Of course, many, and more every day! I tend to pay close attention to anyone who I think can contribute to my own development and try to absorb everything they have to offer. In general, anyone who pivots toward effort and non-surrender as being the main levers of success are role models for me, and I am very fortunate to have many cases like this in my closest circle of family and friends.
- What are your main hobbies?
When I have time for it, I love to travel and get to know new places and cultures for all that I believe it brings to me as a person.
On the other hand, I really enjoy the little things that day-to-day life allows you to do and, for example, having a good meal or a beer with family and/or friends with good music in the background is a real treat for me (when I say “good music”, what I mean is almost anything featuring a guitar).

I don’t know about qualities, but certainly a defining characteristic would be that I prefer this question to be answered by those who know me.
