Describe your position at Axis Corporate, part of Accenture

I am responsible for the financial services sector in Madrid and collaborate with other partners, directors, and managers, driving the relationship with company leaders at various levels, adding value to each project, and constantly innovating on new approaches that are necessary for our clients.

What do you value most about your position?

What I value most about my responsibility is the permanent need to be in contact with clients, proposing new approaches and advising them on both the new and the permanent challenges regarding profitability, improving their value proposition to their clients, and defining the operational models that will support their growth. I place a lot of value on being able to observe the talent and growth of Axis Corporate, part of Accenture professionals.

What does it mean to be a Managing Director at Axis Corporate, part of Accenture?

Being a Managing Director, apart from the great responsibility over clients and teams, means constantly teaching through action: boosting relations and commercial activity, promoting creativity and quality in projects, and managing to help people grow through motivation and challenge so that they can offer up the best of themselves.

What are the key ingredients to being good at what you do?

We have a heavy workload, we work under a lot of stress, but we all agree that all these things are compensated when you get recognition from the clients for the work done and can see the return and positive impact of the changes that were proposed and implemented. The constant learning and enthusiasm demonstrated by each member of the team is also fulfilling.

What do you do in your spare time?

A few years ago, I decided to take on new personal challenges and run a marathon. Today, I am one of the 100 Spaniards who have run in the 6 Majors (NYC, Chicago, Boston, London, Berlin, and Tokyo), as well as other marathons and triathlon events such as Ironman 70.3 and mountain races. I am thrilled to be able to encourage and help other members of the company when they decide to take on similar challenges and do them together.
